Chia Jam

(Serves 12) 

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen mixed berries (about 2 cups)

  • 3 tablespoons chia seeds

  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons hot water

  • Squeeze of lemon juice

How to:

  1. Place all ingredients into a mason jar.

  2. Stir well to combine.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, until thickened.

    Goes well with:

    -Yogurt and peanut butter

    -Cottage cheese

    -Spread on bread
